A Certified Member of the Appraisers Association of America, Jason Christian has been actively engaged in the fine art photography market for two decades. He has appraised thousands of photographs – both individual works and photo archives for private collections and institutions. He consults with collectors, curators, dealers, and auction houses on photography, and has worked on arbitrations when the value of photographs is at issue. Mr. Christian has a background working with photographs at Weston Gallery in Carmel, California.
Mr. Christian holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz and an M.A. from Dartmouth College. He attended the program for Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Arts at New York University.
